396 - first trees arrive May 25

Day 396 was a cool overcast day with some sun occasionally but no rain or wind!! Shaina headed off to last day of school before the big grad day dropping Coco at the groomers on her way. I was up and cleaning and preparing for the w/e as well. I had talked to the tree guy and he is bringing 14 trees to put in today.

At noon he arrived with 13 trees. Sheldon picked up Coco from the groomer on his way to help Gord with the tree spotting.

Coco all clean but this does not last long :-(

By now it was 3:30 and Sheldon ran back to work quick before returning home. The sun was now out which made it nice. I watered the deck pots and garden while he was gone. Once he was back, he and I started to water in the trees. Shaina and Brandon cleaned more horse manure from the fields in hopes of tidy photo background.

Papa and Grama K arrived around 5. I popped in and cooked up a quick spaghetti supper. Grama did Shaina's nails while Sheldon and I went and straightened and covered all 13 trees finishing the last one at 10:30 just after Mom and Dad arrived. Papa and Grama ran to the airport to pick up Britt who flew in at 9:30 and brought her home at 11! She was so tired after a busy week on the trip including being sick with the flu, she went straight to bed!

There was drinks and visiting and at about midnight all but the grandparents went to bed, they stayed up visiting for another hour.
