Day 398 began as a drizzly rainy day. We got the pickup call at 4:15 and Sheldon was in and back with Shaina by 4:45 and back in bed.
I got up around 9:30 to find Mom and dad enjoying a coffee so started a blazing fire to enjoy in front of. Soon others got up to join us. It was then time to start the food preparations. With the lack of love for ham I did not realize it had to cook for 2 1/2 hours so we improvised and cut in slabs and barbequed. This smell gave Diego severe Corso slime.
By 11 the Paetz's rolled in, Shaina got up and other trickled in. It was a lovely day of visiting, food and laughs. Auntie Mindy drove over to congratulate Shaina arriving closer to 1. It was then time to open gifts and get out the chocolate fountain. The sun started to come out around 4..YEAH!

By 5 all the guests had left and after helping clean up, Mom and Dad headed home. Shaina had caught a ride to town to get her car and visit a bit in there. By 5:20 Sheldon and I were out watering trees and the garden while Britt rode her horse and ponied Julio for me.
Shaina was back home around 6:45, soon after Brandon joined us for hamburgers for a late supper. It was then back out for Sheldon who was digging up the power to yard light cable. Britt hit the TV as did the graduate and Brandon watching netflix movies. I cleaned up and downloaded photos.
It was a memorable and lovely weekend.
