438 - 100 year Stampede parade

Day 438 started really early.. like knock on door at 6 AM!! by 6:30 we were all up and out feeding horses and ourselves at the grub tent. Again a  lovely breakfast was put on with pancakes, sausage, hash browns and juice and coffee! The club all got ready to be judged just around 7:30 am. Miss Sam must have braided 20 tails if she did one and by the end which was Shaina and Britt her poor fingers were cut, but her work was beautiful! The rest of the morning was a hurry up and wait in this line. Eventually we got on the parade route after 11 and were finished by noon. What a pile of people come to watch the parade. Sheldon and Grama and Papa were right at the end of the route at the old King Eddy. Kaylin had found parking but not the family and her time elapsed before we made it to her area. :-(

Sheldon came back to the fort and helped us dismantle all the pens and scoop the poop and hay before we all loaded up and headed to the ranch arriving home at 3pm. Whew everyone but Sheldon slept part of the way home and after hauling in stuff, most had a shower. Grama and Papa were just pulling out to head to next party when we arrived. I bleached a load of wraps and KD dirty fly sheet while unpacking stuff and putting out the lawn mowers to graze. Britt played with her kitties and dogs and such. Mom, Amanda and Asher stopped to drop off kitty goodies and a quick visit! I threw in some pizzas and made another fresh garden ceasar salad It  was now nap time but I was not one of them, nor was Britt who washed up the fancy new kitty litter box until the rain started at 4:30, the rest slept until 6.

Sheldon went out to work on the island bricks, Britt baked brownies and Tessa and Shaina had ice cream before all the girls went to TV room to watch a movie. I spent time uploading all the club photos I took and updating the blog. It was a lovely but lazy night!
