supervisor hard at work
here is my view of devastation from the deck
poured
then groomed
my rigging system for the tomatoes
the light pole in the daylight
the wind took it out on the top grafted dwarf lilac too
the cut in the joints and began the top layer to expose the rocks just as we were leaving
By 1:30 we pulled out and made the trek. The temps in Kananaskis country were only around 24 but it seems the heavy load and hills caused the truck to over heat so we stopped alongside the road for 20 minutes before continuing on. The gentleman who helped answer my question was correct saying our destination was just over the hill. At 3:30 we pulled in, unloaded horses and backed into our campsite!
the break down stop
off to feed the horses
camp fire smokies and smores
We saddled up and ventured off on a 2 hour ride fording the river and being the target of many photos and waves. back at camp we roasted smokies and smores and played cards while listening to our neighbor play guitar. Think we all turned in around 12:30.
