564 - Hitmen game and city stops

Day 564 was a day off for both Sheldon, Shaina and I from work and Britt from school. Kaylin had slept over so was like a family day in the morning. Miss Lexi was up at 7:30 and after feeding and playing with her and trying to get her back to sleep I got up, Sheldon was up just after 8 and shrieked when he saw the clock, he too thought later than it was and had hoped for sleep in day :-) But since he was up and there was snow .. he headed out to push and play in it for the morning.

 this morning it was a paper towel roll she attacked and shredded !!

I put another coat of wax on my stools, Britt and Brooke headed out into the snow for a bit before Sandra picked Brooke up just before noon. Sheldon got the panther running so Britt took it ut for a spin then in to warm up and shower for the city. Kaylin had a lazy start to the day but Shaina slept till noon or later!

 Lexi does not like "Ruby"

About 1 Amanda, Craig and Asher stopped to borrow a pot and visit. At 2:30 they left and we loaded up and headed to Calgary leaving Kaylin and Lexi at the ranch. Kaylin works at 4:15. It was a not bad drive in with the horse trailer in tow, luckily it was our first stop dropping it at the repair shop for the hail damage. Next it was off to Alberta Boot where the girls were to be fitted up for Christmas riding boots. Shaina managed to decide and pick out a pair but Britt was stumped so we left with one on the order table. They did end up being quite pricey so we are going to check out the other boots they originally wanted too.

Chiropractor Marcy was next for Sheldon and I. Britt realized she left her gloves at the boot store so it was a drive back there and then to Salt and Pepper Mexican restaurant for supper. It was not as good as the reviews sadly. Then it was off to the Hitmen game. Calgary won 5-2.

It was still lightly snowing when we started the drive to the ranch. Sheldon whipped in to Tims to get us all a hot beverage and we continued on arriving at the ranch around 10:30. Kaylin was done work early around 9 so waiting for Shaina. They both headed to town to spend time with friends. Sheldon, Britt, Lexi and I watched The Tall Man and it was surprisingly good. Finally it was time to call it a night around 12:30 but I had to read until after 1. The two girls got home later.
