481 - B plays polocrosse & Shaina takes a limo

Day 481 started early. I was awake just after 7, checked Britt was up just before 7:30 and saw Chad pulling in the yard. He was picking Pepper up for Emma to use at the club polocrosse tournament today and Britt would be going with them as well playing Hiya. Once all tack, horse and kid was loaded they headed off before 8.

Sheldon had a coffee and came out to start on the brick. I got stuff together to start painting the deck doors the dark brown color and got underway. Papa joined Sheldon after having breakfast while Grama had breakfast on the deck supervising the workers. The boys came in for lunch at around 12:30 and I followed around 1 finishing the doors. I did not do the garage door as it will most likely need to be replaced.

After lunch Sheldon went back out continuing to lay bricks moving to the lower level too. Papa and Grandma had a nap while I cleaned for a few a couple hours in preparation for Sheldon's Godmother and husband coming for a visit later on. They arrived just after 2:30. They enjoyed visiting with Grama and Papa who gave a house and "what was left of the land" tour. I helped Sheldon with Bricks while watering my garden.

Just after 3 Shaina came home from working at Target. She had helped Lynda this am load horses before work at 9. She did a few things then came to help me make food and medicate horses. We then started the hosing process of all 4. Out of the blue a semi pulls in with 8' high 1X8 slabs. In the end we bought 4 bundles so the guy could head home. We only wanted 2 but Sheldon felt he made a good deal and we could use as I had asked him to make some windbreaks in the field after the storm. Shannon stopped for a quick visit.

At 6 I called to check status of Britt as Grama and Papa had planned us all going for supper in town. Britt's team won the tourney!!! She would e home just after 7. At quarter to 7, Shaina headed to town to get money for her big night out. A limo was taking the girls to the city to a club. Grama, Papa, Ian and Marion followed. Britt was home at 7, we unloaded tack and horse and her new leather halter prize and she ran to get ready while we had a quick visit with Chad and Kiara. By 7:30 we met them at the Roadhouse to enjoy supper. At 9 we headed to Paetz's to see progress, Britt drove Grama and Papa home and Shaina left a bit earlier to the party limo. By 10:30 I drove Sheldon and I home and just after 11 Travis came home with the truck full of lumber.
