496 - last polox jackpot

Day 496 was a windy yet sunny and warm day. Today was the last jackpot so we were up around 9 and trying to leave by 10. This turned into 11 by the actual time we had snacks for pot luck, beverages to hydrate, Britt fed and hosed her injured and the 3 others caught and loaded.

We had to stop at Costco as Diego was getting to the bottom of his feed tub. While there we grabbed a few more items before heading to the field by 12:30. Shaina slept in and worked the golf course 2 till close so was unable to come play.

Then it was tack up, warm up and get ready to play. All 3 of us played different levels so could watch the others which was nice. It also allowed for some photos to be taken, here are a few

We enjoyed potluck and fellowship till around 6:45 then home by 7:30. Unloaded groceries then horses and Britt went out to hose feed and pitch hay before coming in around 8:30, just before dark. Sadly it is getting dark by 9 now. We all grabbed what left overs we wanted eating at separate times. I was tuckered so hit a hot tub then bed as did Sheldon. He was asleep by 9 and I read for a bit but was not long after. I did wake up at 12:45 to a loud banging. I went down to see if anyone was making the noise. Shaina was home form work skyping Shannon and Britt was watching movies but once they turned things down I found it was Diego gnawing on his jumbo bone on the deck!
