417 - Asher play day

 Day 417 started out drizzly rain. I was up just after 7 to be sure Britt was getting up and ready for the bus today. After the bus arrived at 8 I went back to sleep till just before 10 when Asher was to arrive. Craig and Steve dropped him off around 10:30. Sheldon slept till around 11 when the delicious smell of the coffee I left by his bed was more than sleep worthy.

Kate and Shaina slept late and got up around noon and headed out for a ride. Sheldon ran garbage to the dump at noon and was back for lunch then off to town on errands. such as getting light pole for yard, landscape ties for pea gravel edge etc.

I continued laundry and playing with my little buddy. I also gave Diego his 5 week shot of cartrophen. Kate and Shaina headed to school to take in the water fight at just before 3. Seems the sun is peeking out a bit so might be ok but they are kids. Craig stopped at about quarter to 4 to pick up little man. Britt was home on the bus at 4 and Sheldon made it back around 4:15. He unloaded the pole and quickly jumped in the shower.

Sheldon and I have reservation at The Chop in the city tonight to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day with the first jackpot of the season for polocrosse. To get there, play, have social time, back home and unloaded and back into the city was too stressful. On the way we are picking up a dog house we hope will be perfect for Diego as well as returning the extra cedar planks from garden project.

Britt stayed home and rode her horse for 2 hours and cleaned tack etc for tomorrow's big polox jackpot. Then she made non cook chocolate chip cookie dough and hung out.Shaina went to another grad party and had a campout in back of Shannon's truck

We left late around 4:45 and returned the cedar first then drove to see the dog house which Sheldon felt was not big enough :-( then it was a race back south to Chop for our reservation. However the big trailer on back posed a parking problem but eventually we parked across the way at home depot and walked over. It was a delicious meal and new found drink called the white greyhound. We tried to hit a movie but the only one played by then was low seats so we headed to Strathmore to the Station for a couple yummy beverages served by the cutest waitress ever :-) then home by 11:30.
